At The Training Centre Canada, we love giving back. Our team recognizes that there are individuals both in our local communities and around the world who are less fortunate than we are and in response, we work with various organizations to participate in outreaches, missions, and ministry movements in order to support those who are lost, hurt, unsafe, or otherwise. We take pride in offering both financial and practical support to those who need it most.
Whether lending a helping hand to those close to us in Canada and America, or those farther away in Africa, Europe or the Middle East, we like to offer hands-on support to those in need in conjunction with our supportive partners. For example, our team recently visited a community in South Africa where we donated food and useful tools to local squatter camps. Here, we also taught the children valuable skills that will set them up for success in the future and assisted local shelters by offering valuable supplies, resources, and overall support where needed.
It is at the core of The Training Centre Canada’s team to work together in order to make a meaningful change. Aside from participating in various volunteer outreaches, we have also completed several activities within Canada in hopes of making a difference in our local communities. One cause that we care deeply about is human trafficking. In hopes of putting an end to this phenomenon, our team is actively involved in lobbying Canada’s Parliamentarians to offer greater and more immediate support to those affected by this serious issue. We have worked to make sure the Canadian law holds serious consequences for this crime.
This year in 2020, it is our mission to dedicate more effort, resources, and financial aid to eliminate human trafficking. How do we plan to do this? We have joined forces with the A21 Campaign, a non-profit organization that works to fight human trafficking. You can help too! With every donation you make, we will match it. In doing so, we will “Reach the vulnerable, Rescue the victim and Restore the survivor.” Whether you make a one-time donation or enter a monthly partnership with A21, we can end human trafficking together. Even the smallest amount can make the biggest difference.
