What is Smart Serve?

If you plan to work in Ontario where alcohol is sold or served, you’ll need your Smart Serve certification. The program is Ontario’s official training for responsible alcohol service. Once you complete the Smart Serve course, you’ll be eligible to receive your Smart Serve license (sometimes referred to as a Smart Serve licence), which is required by law for anyone serving alcohol in bars, restaurants, events, or retail settings.

Smart Serve Online Training & Certification in Ontario

Get fully certified to work in all establishments selling, serving, delivering, or offering samples of liquor in Ontario with the official Smart Serve Full Course.

Course Details:

Individual Use Only: The course must be completed by the registered Smart Serve account holder.

Final Test: All tests are proctored; you must have a working web camera and present valid government-issued photo ID.

Access: Course access and the Final Test expire 30 days after purchase.

Languages: Available in English, French, Chinese, Korean, Punjabi, and Spanish.

Accessibility: Fully AODA compliant for all learners.

To pay via Debit, Credit Card or Paypal, select the “Add to Cart” button. There is a processing fee for Paypal and Credit Card! If you would like to pay via Interact email money transfers, you can send the E-Transfer to Whitney@smithsecurity.ca for $169.48. Please note that E-Transfers may take a few hours before they are received. With E-transfers, please also send us an email with your full name, email address, and home address while you send payment. NO REFUNDS for any training, including use of force training. If you are paying using someone else’s credit card information, please notify us immediately after payment so we do not issue the course to the incorrect person.
